Ángel Rojas, a Madrid-born flamenco dancer, choreographer, and art director, has been a leading figure in dance and flamenco for over 30 years. Starting his professional career at 16, he toured with renowned companies like Ballet Teatro Español and Antonio Canales Flamenco Ballet, earning critical acclaim. In 1995, Rojas co-founded the New Spanish Ballet, later renamed Rojas & Rodríguez, which became a major influence in Spanish and flamenco dance.

Rojas has created and directed numerous celebrated works, including Infierno, S.L., Romeo y Julieta, and Titanium. His international tours have taken him to over 25 countries. Rojas has received many awards, such as the Villa de Madrid Pilar López Award and the Medal of Arts of the Community of Madrid.

In recent years, Rojas directed the Madrid Flamenco Festival and the new Madrid Flamenco Theater. In 2024, he was commissioned to direct the first City of Madrid Flamenco Biennial.
