Ala Ebtekar

Ala Ebtekar (b. Berkley, California, United States, 1978) is an Iranian-American artist whose work explores light as a concept and a medium. His works often require slow photographic exposure times that draw attention back to the passing of time. He combines photography with other art techniques, including bookmaking and painting. His work has been exhibited throughout the United States as well as internationally.
