What’s Your Sanctuary?

How have you found sanctuary during the COVID-19 lockdown?

Calling all art lovers: the Aga Khan Museum invites you to help create a new digital art display charting how people in our community have found sanctuary during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Send us a photograph or short video that speaks to what — and who — gave you comfort, stability, belonging, and hope during this challenging time. Please include a short testimonial or poem about the sanctuary represented in your photo or video.

The deadline for submissions has been extended until July 31, 2020.

This new collection of community generated art serves as a companion to our Sanctuary exhibition. View the presentation with the selected artworks on this webpage or see the display in the Museum’s Bellerive Room. Watch out for updates as new submissions will be added on a continuous basis.
