Join Aga Khan Museum curator Filiz Çakır Phillip as she reveals cross-cultural connections in Fatimid art.

 

Filiz Çakır Phillip is Curator at the Aga Khan Museum in Toronto. She studied Art History and Classical Archaeology, Turcology and Museums Management, and was awarded a Doctor's degree in Islamic Art History at Freie Universität Berlin. Before joining the Aga Khan Museum, she worked as curator at the Museum of Islamic Art, Berlin and has also served as Senior Fellow at Excellence Cluster TOPOI and Research Fellow at Kunsthistorisches Institut in Florenz, Max-Planck-Society, and the Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York.
