COVID-19 Exposure at the park – September 17, 2021

The Aga Khan Museum was informed today by Toronto Public Health that one attendee of an outdoor wedding ceremony held at its park on September 17th has subsequently tested positive for COVID-19.

At this point there is no instruction from Toronto Public Health to any Museum personnel or visitor to self-isolate or be tested, and the Museum was commended for its rigorous COVID-19 safety measures.

We understand that the wedding reception was held at another third-party indoor venue. Public Health has contacted the impacted individual who has been exposed to COVID-19 in connection with the event and has provided a directive to self-isolate or be tested where necessary.

The Aga Khan Museum continues to strictly follow all applicable Public Health guidelines. We are committed to helping curb the spread of COVID-19 and providing a welcoming and healthy environment for everyone.
