Architecture Inspired Tours (10:30 am–4 pm)
Immerse yourself in the Museum’s stunning architecture with a free tour and learn about its award-winning design.
Tickets will be issued outside the main doors on a first-come, first-served basis. Tours depart every 30 minutes and are 20 minutes in duration.
Family activities in the Education Centre (10:30 am–4 pm)
Bring the kids for free and fun art activities.
Tickets will be issued outside the Education Centre on a first-come, first-served basis 15 minutes before each session. Sessions begin on the half-hour and are 20 minutes in duration.
Pop-up Performances (11 am–5 pm)

A rare look into the auditorium (10 am–4 pm)
During a regular visit to the Museum and outside of performances, our auditorium, one of the true architectural gems of the Museum, is closed to visitors. Seize the rare opportunity to experience the acoustic wonder of the space as we open the doors to the public all weekend long.
Food and drink
Take a minute to refresh and grab a snack at the Courtyard Café (10 am–5:30 pm) or sit down for a delicious meal at Diwan.
The Ismaili Centre, Toronto (10 am–3:20 pm)
Enjoy guided tours in The Ismaili Centre, Toronto (across from the Aga Khan Museum and Park), then venture outside and indulge in delicious treats like ice cream and popsicles. Pre-booking for tours is not required. Tours are filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
In the event of any inclement weather, all performances will be moved indoors.
Getting to the Museum
The Museum is easy to get to by public transit. From downtown, take the 100A from Broadview station, the 25B, or the 925 from Pape station. From the north, take the 925 bus southbound on Don Mills Rd (route begins at Steeles). Use the TTC's Trip Planner to plan your route.
The Museum is accessible by car via Don Mills Rd, Eglinton Ave East, or the Don Valley Parkway (DVP). Take the Wynford Dr exit.
Bicycle parking is available free of charge.
Doors Open Toronto
Doors Open is a free event that invites the public to discover Toronto’s sites of architectural, historic, and cultural significance. Since its inception in 2000, Doors Open Toronto has attracted more than two million visits to nearly 700 unique locations. It is Canada’s largest Doors Open event and one of the three largest in the world.
