Lapis Ball is the Aga Khan Museum’s premier gala — an extraordinary evening that celebrates, educates, and inspires. As the Museum’s signature fundraising event, Lapis Ball brings together distinguished guests to celebrate the power of the arts in connecting cultures and fostering mutual understanding. Since its inception in 2017, the gala has raised over $6 million in support of the Museum’s mission.

Widely recognized as one of Canada’s most anticipated philanthropic events, Lapis Ball is an invite-only gala that brings together a remarkable community of visionary leaders and philanthropists.

Our Lapis Ball supporters help the Museum harness the transformative power of the arts to enrich lives and foster more peaceful and inclusive societies, enabling us to reach new heights through thought-provoking exhibitions, inspiring performances, and unique educational programs. Most importantly, our annual Lapis Ball supports our steadfast commitment to advancing pluralism, a value that feels more urgent and essential than ever.

The evening will begin with an elegant cocktail reception, followed by a gourmet dinner and an unforgettable performance in a stunningly designed tent in the Aga Khan Park. Guests will then be invited to continue the festivities at the Sundown Soirée — an immersive, multi-sensory experience featuring curated sights, sounds, and activities throughout the Museum.
