  • Chasing after a marvellous onager in the wild brings Bahram Chubineh, the courageous Iranian commander, to a magnificent castle. Curious to explore the palace, Bahram leaves his horse with his companion Izad-Gushasp and enters the gateway. There he sees a beautiful lady sitting on a throne and wearing a gold crown. She advises Bahram, “Be victorious, always patient-hearted, careful in your councils.” Her message has a powerful impact on Bahram, transforming his character and informing his future actions.
